Patrick Swayze’s wax figure was unveiled at Madame Tussauds wax museum in Hollywood by his widow, Lisa Niemi, Tuesday.

While attending the unveiling ceremony for her husband’s likeness, the 55-year-old struck a pose with the statue that recreated one of the iconic scenes from “Dirty Dancing.”In “Dirty Dancing,” Swayze played the dance teacher and love interest of a young girl named Baby, played by Jennifer Grey. The “Dirty Dancing” movie grossed $214 million worldwide and spurred the hit song “The Time of My Life.”
The unveiling of Swayze’s wax statue came two years after the actor died of pancreatic cancer at 57. He had been married to Niemi, a fellow actress and dancer, for 34 years before he died in 2009.
“It’s gonna be so fun to have this figure in the museum here, and at the same time it’s bittersweet,” Niemi told “Access Hollywood” at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood Tuesday. “I wish he were here, really here.”
